Wireless Charging

Wireless chargers by Cadex serve mostly specialty applications.

Wireless charging is classified into inductive charging, resonance charging and radio (RF) charging.  Most portable devices use inductive charging with transmit and receive coils in close proximity.  The table lists the most common standards. Also see BU-412.

WPC or Qi
(Wireless Power Consortium)

Established

2008, Qi was the first wireless charging standard.
